EFCC yesterday quizzed a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Bala Mohammed in connection with the N1trn Abuja land swap deal.
A reliable source at the Abuja office of the anti-graft body, told our correspondent that the ex-minister arrived the commission at about 11 a.m.
The source further revealed that Mohammed was immediately whisked to Idiagon House, the interrogation unit of the commission, where he was said to have been grilled by operatives assigned to the case.
As at the time of filing this report, he was still being questioned, fueling the speculation that he might be detained.
Bala Mohammed was FCT Minister between 2011 and 2015 and it was alleged that several questionable land deals were perpetrated under his watch.
His arrest, National Mirror reliably gathered, was not unconnected with series of petitions against him.
