Sacked Appropriation Committee Chairman of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, Wednesday vowed not to rest until he sees Speaker Yakubu Dogara and other principal officers he accused of corruption removed from office and imprisoned.

Jibrin, who has been very restless since his sack by the House, said he has visited the Presidential Committee against Corruption, which invited him based on his petition.
He said he was interrogated for hours by the committee and was hopeful that the revelations he made there would spur the committee to press for justice to be served on Dogara and all those he accused of corruption.

Jibrin, who turned anti-corruption crusader immediately he was sacked, over six weeks now, and had since then been very restless, calling so many ranking members and Principal Officers of the House unpleasant names, linking them with corrupt practices, except himself, Majority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila and a few others, who have remained neutral and have not attacked him and his cause.

He said he was pained and could not imagine how “corrupt people” would preside over the House where he and a few others, who are free fromn corruption, are members.

“If some members of the House of Representatives or Nigerians feel okay that a corrupt person should continue to call himself the number four citizen of this country, so be it. I have done my own part of it, I have exposed corruption.

“I have submitted petitions to the anti-corruption agencies and within what is in my control and in the control of other members of the National Assembly that believe in this cause, we would continue to do all that we can to ensure that justice is served on speaker Dogara, Deputy Speaker Lasun and of course, Minority Leader, Leo Ogor

Conte: Chelsea must learn to kill matches

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says his side must learn to kill off matches quicker following their 3-2 League Cup win over Bristol Rovers. Michy Batshuayi scored two goals either side of a Victor Moses strike at Stamford Bridge to send the home side into the third round, but they were given a fright when the visitors twice halved a two-goal deficit through Peter Hartley and an Ellis Harrison penalty. The victory is Conte's third in competitive matches as Chelsea boss, following 2-1 wins over West Ham and Watford in the Premier League - both of which came about thanks to late goals from Diego Costa. And the former Italy boss wants his players to become more ruthless in their approach in order to prevent similarly nervy encounters in future. "These games are very tough," he told BBC Radio London Sport. "When you dominate the game, you must kill the game. In this case, we didn't do this. "It's a pity because when you're playing very well, creating a lot...
